# Graph view

`fs.graph` is a `GraphView` — the fluent read/write surface over the graph. Reads return
**handles** that wrap the underlying models ([`Shelf`](data-model.md),
[`Theme`](data-model.md), [`Card`](data-model.md)) and add navigation methods. See the
